February 2010
Antiques On The Square Store Front

Hi!

It's that time again - time for the much anticipated:

9th Annual Madison Antiques Show & Sale

This antiques show is becoming quite well known in Georgia and the surrounding states. It's not just your ordinary stuffy old antiques show! The preview party is fabulous and the best time to purchase deals that won't last through the show.
There is usually an incredible selection of antique furniture, paintings, crystal, rugs, antique linens, and so much more. This year there will be an exceptional collection of estate jewelry and antique silver!

Twenty-two very special dealers from 9 different states will bring a variety of fabulous items to the show. They will travel from New Jersey, Michigan, Kentucky, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, and different areas of Georgia. No local dealers will display items in the show. So, while the local shops will be stocked with wonderful inventory, many items will only be available for the 3 show days.

In keeping with the exclusive nature of the show, Antiques On The Square has brought in a fabulous selection of antique furniture for the month of February. The items include secretaries, chests, sideboards, and many small tables. These special items are in addition to our regular inventory of rare antique china, oil paintings, antique prints, antique crystal, and a variety of small special antiques.

The Antiques Show & Sale is scheduled to begin February 18th with their Preview Party from 5pm to 8pm. The Preview Party is always a festive affair with beverages,  appetizers, and lots of socializing. Best of all, you get first choice of all  the wonderful antique treasures. It's always a really fun evening.

Then, the Antiques Show and Sale continues on February 19th and 20th with a free lecture each day. Back by popular demand, complimentary wine and cheese will be served each afternoon starting at 4pm.

For additional information please click here Antiques Show .

There are also many new items on our website - please click to view our inventory:
Antiques On The Square Is Filled With Many Fabulous Furniture Items

Antiques On The Square Interior Antiques On The Square is now filled with over 2 dozen fabulous antique pieces of furniture.

We also have many items of antique English china and pottery that has just been put in the shop.

And, our latest shipment of items is due in from England any day. We are expecting this shipment to arrive before the show. So, because of time constraints, the items might be in the shop by show time - but will not yet be on the website.

In addition to the furniture we have many beautiful items such as paintings, mirrors, and lamps. Many of the larger items are not listed on the website because they are so difficult to photograph. If you have a question about an item, we will be happy to send photographs.
