Welcome to our October newsletter! We have been very busy since our inaugural September newsletter.
 
The Bicentennial Tour of Bungalows & Cottages was fabulous. The weather was unpredictable and it turned out to be a very wet weekend. But, the hearty tourgoers said it was one of the best tours ever. Several of the cottages had never been open for tour - and that is always a plus.
Excitement is building about The Bicentennial Town & Country Holiday Tour of Homes in December. Our bicentennial year is special and this home tour promises to be very special also.    
 
The renovation on the facade of our shop is complete. New windows, new signage, new display area, new paint, and even some new planters in front of the shop. Fresh, new feeling! Now, we're ready to begin decorating for the holidays!

Are you a collector? You might be and just don't know it.
Most of us are collectors in some way or another - whether it consists of a small special collection of items or a collection that has literally taken over our home!
 
A collection can consist of as few as 3 well chosen items or as many as hundreds of items. Whatever the collection, the search is always a large part of the enjoyment. And, the harder it is to find that perfect thing, the more we appreciate it when we do find it. 
 
Antique inkwells are one of the hottest collectible items today. They're small, affordable, fun to collect, and display beautifully.

Selection Of Custom Lamps:

We now have a selection of gorgeous lamps that are custom made for Antiques On The Square.
 
Some of our favorites are made from Imari, Celadon, Famille Rose, Rose Medallion, and Blue Canton vases. 
 
The quality is excellent and they are perfect for use with casual everyday or fine antique surroundings.
 
At the moment, these lamps are for purchase in the shop only. We will be adding them to the website soon.
 
  

New Store Days & Hours:

Beginning November 1, our store in Madison will be open Monday - Saturday from 11-5.
 
We will be closed Sundays.

Our Latest Shipment Of Fabulous Antique Treasures Has Just Arrived!

Our shipment from England arrived this week. We are unpacking and tagging everything as quickly as possible. There is lots of beautiful majolica, imari, pewter, antique books, and paintings. Some items are already on display in the shop. More will be put out daily and everything will be put on the website.
It is so exciting when a shipment arrives! Things are usually even more special than we remember.
 
As this shipment is being unpacked, we are receiving emails from our dealers in the UK with photos of items they are reserving for our next shipment.

 For the past 5 years we have exclusively played Danny Wright's classical piano music in our shop. It is beautiful to listen to and creates the perfect environment for browsing through lovely antiques.
