Pair of English Staffordshire Blue Willow platters. These transferware platters were made by Sampson Hancock & Sons circa 1920. S. Hancock & Sons actually called these platters Coronaware and named the pattern Willow. The larger platter measures approx. 10 3/4" by 14 1/2" and the smaller platter measures approx. 9 1/2" by 12 3/4". They are lovely platters with unusual shapes. They have several small chips off the back edges that are not visible on the front. These are reflected in the price.
