Rare early 1800s drabware / yellow ware footed tureen with lid. This beautiful ceramic piece is a mustard color. It has lots of detailed decoration. Leaves decorate the base and lid. The handles are horse heads, and the lid finial appears to be 2 dolphins. The pottery marks on the bottom are DP3 - which probably stands for Don Pottery of Yorkshire. This piece probably dates to the early 1800s. It measures approx. 5 1/4" tall, 6 1/2" from horse nose to nose, and the base measues approx. 3 1/4" across.
