Antique English transferware pitcher. This pitcher dates to the early 1800s. The transferware design is quite rare and is beautifully done in shades of purple. This pitcher measures approx. 8 1/2" tall and 8" wide from lip to handle. The maker appears to be Staffordshire potter Elkin, Knight, & Bridgwood who was in business from 1827-1840. The pattern name is Chinese Pagodas.
