Tall antique English Staffordshire figure. This rare Staffordshire figure is quite colorful. It features a man with ornate garments, plummed hat, boots, cape with fur collar, and holding a spear. The loyal dog at his side is colored a reddish brown and white. This figurine is actually called a spill vase. It is rare and desirable for its size, color, and dog. The dogs front right leg is separate which makes it even more unusual. This figure is tall at approx. 17 3/4".
It has not even been cleaned in any way. It is straight from an estate in England where it was owned by the same family since it was originally made in the 1800s.
