Antique English oak biscuit barrel with feet. This Circa early 1900s English biscuit barrel has silver plated feet, lid, handle and trophy shield. The silver is marked EPNS. The lid is decorated with a bee hive holding the "Biscuits" label. This biscuit barrel is quite unusual with the rounded oak bottom unlike the more common barrel shape. The dark oak has a great patina and grain. The ceramic liner is original and shows a little staining. The trophy shield is not monogramed. It measures approx. 6 3/4" tall to the top of "Biscuits", 9 1/4" tall to the top of the handle, and 6" across at the widest point.
