Antique English transferware drainer C.1840. The name of the pattern is "Domestic Scenery" and we believe it was made by Staffordshire potter John & Samuel Burton. The drainer is a creamy white and the beautiful scene is made up of various shades of blue. This drainer measures approx. 9 5/8" by 12 1/4". As with many drainers of this age, there are 3 chips on the edge.
